Kids Activity - Blind Drawing
I’m sure anyone at home with their kids would really appreciate just a few moments of silence. Well, somehow this activity will do it! I used to be a Middle School Art Teacher and this was the one activity we could do that made the room go silent. It requires a good bit of focus but can be done with all ages.
What You Need:
Pencil
Paper
Flower or Plant
Place your chosen flower or plant on the table and have your child try to draw the plant without looking at their paper.
You can spice things up by setting time limits like “Draw what you see for 2 minutes”. Make it even more difficult by asking them not to pick up their pencil the whole time (they are drawing one big continuous line). With younger children, just have them draw what they see or even bust out your water color paints! Looking for a laugh? Extend the project by having your child draw you! Your nose may end up on your forehead but its all for the sake of learning, right?
